About these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of stelmont.ca and to quote requests and text messages from Stelmont Painting (“Stelmont,” “we,” “us”), which provides residential and commercial painting in Ottawa, Ontario and the surrounding area. By using our website or requesting a quote, you agree to these Terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

Using our website

You may use this website to learn about our services and to contact us or request a quote. Please do not misuse the site, for example by submitting false information, sending spam, or trying to interfere with how the site works.

Quotes

Quotes are free and come with no obligation. A quote request through our website, by phone or by email does not create a contract. Any price or timeline we discuss before you accept a written quote is an estimate only, and it is not binding on either of us until you accept the written quote or agreement for your job.

Your job: written quote or agreement

Each painting job is governed by its own written quote or agreement. That document sets out the scope of work, price, scheduling, any deposit, payment terms, how changes to the work are handled, and the warranty details for your project. If anything in these Terms conflicts with your written quote or agreement, the written quote or agreement applies to your job.

Warranty and insurance

Our work comes with a 5-year warranty, as described in your written quote. We carry $5 million in liability insurance and full WSIB coverage.

Text message (SMS) program

If you tick the optional box on our quote form that reads “I agree to receive service texts from Stelmont Painting: quotes, appointments, install updates, or product updates.”, or otherwise give us consent, we may send you text messages about your quote, appointments, install updates, or product updates. Consent is not required to request a quote.

Message frequency varies depending on your project.
Message and data rates may apply.
Opt out: reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. We may send one message confirming you have opted out.

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not share or sell your mobile number or text-message consent to third parties for marketing. See our Privacy Policy.

Website content and photos

We work to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, but it is provided for general information and may change without notice. Photos, including before-and-after images, show examples of painting work and are for illustration. Your results will depend on your home or building, its surfaces and the products chosen. Your written quote describes exactly what we will do for your job.

Intellectual property

The content of this website, including the Stelmont Painting name, logo, text, photos and design, belongs to Stelmont Painting or is used with permission. You may view and share pages for personal, non-commercial purposes, but you may not copy, modify or reuse our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Third-party services and links

Our quote form and some features are provided by third parties, such as HighLevel / LeadConnector. Their own terms and privacy policies also apply to their services. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services we link to.

Limitation of liability

We provide this website “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, Stelmont Painting is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the website, or for interruptions, errors or unavailability of the site. Our responsibilities for painting work are set out in your written quote or agreement. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under Ontario consumer protection law or any liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Ontario.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
